Whatcom County unemployment jumped in December, as local building permits show the construction industry continue to struggle locally. Is the state of your economy getting better? Did the President’s State of the Union Address give you confidence the economy is turning around? I thought the speech was the best comedy I’ve seen in months. I just could not stop laughing, seriously. I would vote for Bozo the Clown before I would vote for this joke of a president. Bozo would do better by just sitting in office and doing absolutely nothing, compared to the damage Obama has done to individual freedom, property rights, and liberty of Americans in his short tenure.

After all, what would they do if there were no longer a problem…give you some back?

I wonder how many Washingtonians know about this little Gregoire deal with the tribes? Can someone tell me why we pay to pave roads on the res…when we are already giving them the cash to pay for it themselves?

Governor Gregoire asked state lawmakers to propose a $1.50-per-barrel charge on refineries to pay for ferries and road repairs. Do you think you will end up footing the bill? Well, it may all depend on if they use the word tax as opposed to the word fee.
