I think they are still looking for all those fantasy “shovel ready” projects. The stimulus bill has proved the perfect payola vehicle to all those good buddies in and around Chicago. I shall never understand this notion of counting jobs saved, when the stated aim is facilitating the resources for wealth-creating work.
